Since our Founder, David Cathels, purchased our first orchard in 1967, the Ardrossan Orchards brand has grown into a hallmark of premium quality Batlow-grown apples. Ardrossan Orchards now encompasses five locations along the hillsides of Batlow.

With the acquisition of Sunland Fresh Fruit, we now grow premium stonefruit, apples, citrus, cherries and persimmons from our orchards in Cobram and Barooga, and our partnership with the Tosoni Family in Queensland delivers the finest mangoes in Australia.

From our grower’s orchards on the pristine NSW Mid-North Coast we supply premium Australian grown Hass avocados, packed under our brand AvoCoast. Each orchard provides the perfect environment for growing fresh produce. And the breadth of our locations enables N&A to be a year-round supplier.

Today, The N&A Group is managed by Rob and Ian Cathels, David’s two sons, with the assistance of a dedicated and experienced team.
Most importantly, our partnerships with the DeMaio family at Sunland Fresh Fruit, Plunkett family in Shepparton, Tosoni family in Dimbulah and Murray Family in Telegraph Point are key to the success of our operations.

For over 60 years, the Cathels family have managed the N&A Group. Today, Rob directs distribution and logistics from our HQ at Orchard Hills, while Ian works the farms and orchards around Batlow and our packaging facilities in Shepparton.

Rob and Ian have carefully selected an experienced team who manage the vertically integrated operations and partnerships within The N&A Group. Each orchard and operation has its own general manager who shares the Cathels family’s high standards and sense of pride in their profession.

Even though the N&A Group is a growing business, our heart and soul is still on our own farms and those of our grower partners all over the country.
